Why We Created Time Bomb TBT

 

Looking at today’s games, it seems like many of them are played solo, even in multiplayer settings. People often get so glued to their phones that there's hardly any real interaction happening. That’s why we set out to create something that encourages people to connect with each other — just like classic board games did! But we wanted to give it a modern twist and take it digital.

And voilà, Time Bomb TBT was born! It’s a high-octane, stress-inducing adrenaline ride that can accommodate an unlimited number of players. Whether you've got two players or a hundred, the more, the merrier! The best part? The game gets even more exciting when everyone has the app, as more players means a bigger challenge.

 

For groups larger than two, we recommend the pro version. Here’s how it works: everyone downloads the Time Bomb TBT app on their own phone and stands in a circle. When everyone is ready, they hit 'start' at the same time to kick things off with the first trivia question. This triggers the timer, and players who answer correctly pass the phone to the right. If you get a question wrong, though, you keep the phone and keep answering until you get it right.

 

Once that timer starts, it's total chaos! No one knows when the “bomb” will go off — it’s completely random. Players keep answering questions and passing phones, but watch out! If you’re too slow, those phones can pile up on you. The unlucky player holding the phone when the bomb explodes puts it down in front of them and continues playing with the other phones.

 

The round keeps going until all the bombs have blown. Remember, in Time Bomb, we’re not about tracking winners — it’s all about counting the losers. At the end of the round, the number of phones in front of you determines your points against you. You can keep score if you want, but usually, we just pick one loser per round to see how many rounds they’ve lost overall.

 

If you’re playing the drinking version, it gets even more fun! Instead of points, the number of phones you have at the end translates to how many drinks you need to take. So grab your friends, download the app, and get ready for some explosive fun with Time Bomb TBT!
